You may be a good fit for this group if…

  • You identify as a adult Third culture kid (ages 18+). Who is a TCK? See below *

  • You are struggling with feeling seen or known because of a diversity of personal experiences where feel like you haven’t fit in or belong

  • You are ready and want to talk about themes of hellos + goodbyes, homesickness, arriving, code-switching, nostalgia, making friends, and transitions.

  • You may have recently gone through a global geographic move or transition. (And maybe you are finding yourself hesitant to unpack, get rid of boxes, hang up anything on the walls.)

  • You don’t want to go on this journey alone anymore and want to connect with others experiencing similar things.

This group may not be a good fit for you if…

  • You are looking for a coaching mastermind class or a psychotherapy group. This is not a replacement for therapy. If you think you may benefit from one-on-one mental health counseling or coaching support, please reach out.

  • You are in crisis or actively self-harming in ways that require medical attention.

* Major asterisk about what defines an adult-TCK (IYKY!). This definition is not meant to be defining for who belongs in this category or not as there is an abundance of nuance and intersectionality. Many folks define an adult-TCK as someone who is 18 years and older who has spent a significant amount of your developmental/ adolescent years outside their passport country/ countries.

  • There may be folks who don’t exactly match the above description, that is okay! If you identify with the goals of the group and and feel called to explore past experiences, particularly as a child, you are welcome! If you are unsure, feel free to reach out but air on the side of “YOU ARE WELCOME and there is space here for you”. This group focuses on childhood moves/ transitions and/ or growing up in transient, revolving communities and explores the personal and relational impact.

  • I know there are Third Culture Adults (TCA) out there who have spent a significant number of years outside their passport countries as an adult and do struggle with transitional challenges. This may not be the right fit for you as the main focus of this group is on reflecting on previous experiences of departing and arriving in new places as a young child or adolescent.

  •  I totally understand finances can be a barrier. Please reach out to see what sliding scale spots are available. I hope to make this accessible, specially to folks in the Global South who may have less access to financial means.

If you are able to pay the full amount, this allows for sustaining and supporting others who may not have the same accessibility.

  • My hope is that you will come away with a deeper sense of connectivity with yourself and others across the globe.

A digital reflection journal will also be provided.

  • I’m glad you are attuning to what you need. These themes touch on tender places so sometimes having individual support might be more appropriate. Please reach out about individual counseling or coaching services I offer, or I can connect you with someone who can help.

  • Thank you for your interest! Let me know your interest level and I can keep you in the loop with future groups.
